access ucase

I am using MS office XP Home with Access 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3). The database
did not run properly since last week. The Ucase & space functions were not
working in Access only. Excel's working fine.
 
Thx. The problem is resolved.

Our database was developed with Office 2002 and we were using Office 2000,
would there be other issues/potential problems to observe?
