Access to shared folder's sub folders

How do I allow others to access sub-folders within my Inbox. I have set the
required permissions on the sub-folders, but what option does the other user
use to access them?

File/Open/Other User's folders does not allow them to access the sub-folder,
only my main Inbox. There is no option for them to View/Folder List when
they have accessed my Inbox.

This is proving to be very frustratiing, and any help would be gratefully
appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

They need to add your mailbox to their profile as a secondary mailbox.

I should have pointed out that you're dealing with a bit of an newbie as far
as Outlook is concerned.

How do they add a secondary mailbox to their profile?

post. We are using Outlook 2000 on a LAN with Microsoft Exchange 5.5.

open the properties for the profile - tools, services - it's on the advanced
tab in 2000.

note that when you don't use delegates to assign permissions, you need to
give them 'folder visible' permissions on the top of your mailbox (where
outlook today is) and the appropriate permissions on each folders you want
them to access.
