Hi,

I've upgraded my users to Outlook 2003 from Outlook
Express.

I've added their old hard disk as a secondary drive on
their new system in the hope that they could
retrieve/delete old files at their leisure (you know what
some users are like - they don't know if the need an old
file or not!!).

This works well for Word and Access files etc, but how
can I get hold of their old e-mails and attachments???

Regards,

Marc

Outlook and Outlook Express use different file formats for their respective
data. First the users will need to import their old Outlook Express data
from the old hard drive into Outlook Express on the new hard drive. If you
need help with that step, go to http://insideOE.tomsterdam.com for complete
instructions on backup and restoration of OE data.

Once they have the OE data established, they can use File | Export in OE or
File | Import and Export in Outlook to get the data into Outlook.
