Access Tables/Query as a Source for Word Docs

Hi All,
Can I link an individual table cell in Word to a unique value in an access
table or query that automatically updates the word doc if the table/query
changes?
 
Hi Pieter,

PMFJI, but I don't think that's correct - at least since Access 2000. In
earlier versions, you could get Access to update data in an Excel
spreadsheet, but since then Access can only read data from Excel, not update
data in Excel. So a Word document linked to a cell in an Excel spreadsheet
cannot (with recent versions of Access) be automatically updated when the
Access data changes.

You can still get the data from access to excel via data / get external etc
That MSAccess no longer can update excel is beside the point
