I have "my documents" folder redirected to the network server. What do
I do to see the contents of "My Documents" folder from a command
prompt?

Once redirected, "My Documents" folder is pointed to
"\\server\share\my documents" and How do I access this location from
command prompt and where in my local drive "My Documents" files are
stored?

TIA

map a drive letter to it and access it that way

if My Documents is on the server then they are not on the local drive.

Bob, thanks for the reply.

This redirection is through group policy, I forgot to mention that
earlier.

In this case, if I lose connection to my network I am still able to
access the my documents folder offline, but where these files are
stored on my PC? and how can I access these files from a command
prompt.

TIA

Normally in the "My Documents" folder under your profile username.

I presume C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents
