Access records pasted by default as Word table?

According to Word 2002's help, this is true; however, on my system it's not.
When I try to paste records from Access, they default to unformatted text. I
can convert the text to a table, but lose the original Access formatting
(title of database, etc.) Also, when I try to "paste special" my only
options are: unformatted text and unformatted unicode text. Any ideas?

It sounds as if something is interfering with the OLE communication that would
recognize the application from which the data is coming. Do you see a similar
problem if you try to paste from, say, Excel?

If you have any third-party management software running (Antivirus, file
management, desktop management, anything of that nature), try turning it off and
see if things change. Or try booting Windows in Safe Mode to ascertain if it's
something of this nature.
