Access problems to websites

I cannot access websites by typing their adress such as www.yahoo.com. If I
type the IP address of the website I will access it.

What is wrong with my settings?

Search your hd for a file named HOSTS (no extension, and may be hidden). If
found, open with a text editor such as Notepad. Search for entries containing
the URLs you cannot access by name, and if found, delete the entire line(s).
