Can anyone help please?

I have a laptop that I use for work and can connect to the company network
when at work. I can also connect to the company network when at home via a
router and ADSL.

At home I have a LAN consisting of three PCs. I want to be able to connect
my laptop to my home LAN so that I can transfer files and use the printers
on the LAN and at the same time be able to connect to my work network.

I have made the home LAN workgroup name the same as my work one but cannot
do what I was hoping. Can anyone advise what I need to do to achieve what I
need

Most of the time, work environments employ domains, while a typical home
network uses a workgroup. So the typical scenario for someone switching
back and forth between home and office is a need to constantly be changing
the laptop configuration between a domain (while at work) and a workgroup
(while at home). But I noticed you did not seem to indicate any such
actions, so I'm not sure if this is an oversight, it doesn't apply, or
perhaps you're not even aware of the issue. So before anyone can really
provide you with a good strategy, it would be helpful if you could provide a
little more details in this regard, concerning your work environment that
is, is it a domain? I assume your home is a single machine, defined as a
workgroup, correct?

Hi
I have the same issue
The question is: If I connect my laptop into my work
domain and then at home to the workgroup, when I am back
in the office I need to a domain admin privilage in order
to connect it back. Additionaly, I need to reboot it any
time I perform this change.

Isn't any other arrangement existing for people who go
back and forth between office and home?
