I would like to obtain a list of the files accessed and the program
opened for the last 24 hours. How can I do this?

You can't, not without some 3rd party monitoring software installed.
 
Well u can check the "My recent Documents" folder for a list of recently
accessed files.
 
Open Search and Click When was it modified? to look for files that were
created or modified on or between specific dates.
