You can create an macro named AutoKeys, and assign whatever shortcut you
want to run a specified query.

Hi Doug,
I'm afraid I'm too new to it all to know how to do that. I was just
wondering if there was a quick key combo to run querys in general.

Thanks for the idea. Maybe for sometime in the future...

Does anyone out there know the keyboard shortcut to run a query?

Select the query in the database window and press <ALT><O> to run it. If the
query is already open in either design view or SQL view, then press <ALT><Q>
first and then press <R> to run it.

Just what I needed. Thanks for the help.

You're welcome, Ross. Whenever you see a letter underlined in the menu or on
a button, that's an indication that it's a hot key or and Access key, which
is the keyboard shortcut you're looking for. Just press <ALT> and the
underlined letter of the alphabet on that menu or button, and it will execute
the function as if you had clicked on it with your mouse.
