Hi there anyone who can help me on this one,

When i print my report access notifies me of the margins not being correct.
This is correct because the papersize was set to "Letter" instead of the
desired A4 formatsize. When i correct this printing works just fine. You
understand that I don't want to do this everytime and I want Access to
remind that I'm using A4 as a default.
I changed the settings in designview and saved the report. After closing the
database en starting again the report was set at "Letter" again.

Which steps should I take to make sure that Access uses A4 instead of
Letter.

Any help appreciated in advance...

If you are using Access 2000 this is a known bug and is documented in
the Microsoft Knowledgebase article:
Q245021 'List of Fixed Problems in Microsoft Office 2000 Service
Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a)'
And specifically:
Q240826 'Lost Printer Settings when Name Autocorrect is turned on'

Turn off the Name AutoCorrect feature as a temporary 'fix'.
Then download and install the Service Release 1/1a.

Even if you are not using Access 2000, turn off the Name AutoCorrect.
Tools + Options + General Tab.
