"access is denied"

ive had this problem once before and it seems like it
just goes away. a flder of mine has become inaccessible,
and i have no idea why, im logged in with full admin
rights, i created the folder, and now i cant change any
of its properties or open it. i can however open other
folders inside of it. for example. i cant type into the
address bar:
"d:\games"

but i can type :
"d:\games\warcraft III"

does anyone know what has happened, and how i can fix
this ? i cant access it in safe mode either, please help !

From D:, right click the Games folder, go to the Security
tab, click Advanced, [Owner] tab, add your user name here
and check "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects".
If the problem persists, run CHKDSK on the volume.
