Just for kicks and giggles, anyone know of websites that have good
examples of scripts you can do with access forms!?

I am looking for ideas, and examples that I can encorporate different
types of things into the access form that I have here, since I am in
the midst of redesigning it.

The only one that I know of, which is worth mentioning is
http://home.comcast.net/~cccsolutions/accesstips.html, hosted by Al
Campagna, who has helped my out tramendously...

What are you trying to accomplish? I, and most of the Access folk of my
acquaintance, don't add glitz and glitter to forms just "for kicks and
giggles"... things like a butterfly flying across, or a fish jumping. You
can do those things, but I wouldn't encourage doing so, unless there was a
compelling need, and I can't think of a compelling need.

I definately don't want anything flying across my screen, especially
since my LCD isn't insured against the 30-06 that would be taking out
the bug flying across it! :)

Well, I'm working on a VERY badly designed form that was made a little
over a year ago, that I have started to clean up very slowly but
surely... I incorporated drop down combos, instead of the combos with
86 different choices (litereally) all popping up at the same time. I
also found the utility that was in a post that helped me get rid of
the Replica from the database...

That's all.. Just looking for ideas as to streamline the form as I am
redoing it.. That's all...

Hard to recommend a change if we don't know what's there that you think does
not "seem right".

Well, for instance.. I found the detecting idle time on Microsofts
website, but something like a button to clear the record entry on the
screen would be nice... Something that if I could hit a button, would
erase not the record itself in the table, but all the information
stored on that record.. So name, phone number, etc., would be erased,
but the actual ID of the record would still exist in the database
table, but would have no information stored on it...

Is that possible!?
