Access denied on shared folders except for SharedDocs

On XP Pro, I've shared a number of folders, but I can't seem to access any of
them from another computer on the network with the exception of the
SharedDocs folder, of which I have full access. Double-clicking on the other
folders yields the following message:

"%Folder% is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource...
....
Access is denied"

Simple Sharing has been disabled. Network config wizard has been run on all
computers. Any suggestions?
 
Enable Simple File Sharing,

Ensure Guest account is enabled in admin tools but not User Accounts.
 
Any way to do it WITHOUT enabling Simple File Sharing? I need to restrict
users from accessing certain folders
