Frustrated WIndows XP user

Am attempting to access via a peer to peer network the
shared files on my secretary's computer. First it tells
me the files are read-only, and must be saved under a new
name. But then it tells me: "Access Denied. You do not
have the right to do this." I have done everything I can
figure out (as administrator of her computer) to give
myself access, but have not succeeded.

What version of XP is on her computer ??
If Home and using NTFS then Guest needs to have
a grant to change the files/folder.
If not Home, but Pro in simple sharing then the same
is true (simple is set at base of view tab in folder options)
If Pro not using simple sharing then there must be a grant
to the account her machine has recognized you to be.

In addition to all of the above, the share must grant change
