I would like t build a database for
my church's webpage where I can give
password to members and they get
their own information.
Very likely, you will want the flexibility provided by Microsoft's ActiveX
Server Pages, .asp, or ASP.NET, which can use an Access database and which
allow you to implement a password procedure.
If you have relatively simple requirements, there are some third-party
products that can use Access/Jet databases.
If you have very simple requirements, you might be able to do what you want
with Microsoft Front Page 2002 or 2003 and the Data Interaction Wizard. If
you have physical or logical access to the server, so you can update the
data, an earlier version of Front Page with the Data Results Wizard would
allow you to create a site where users could retrieve their data.
_How_ to do it in each case would far exceed the limitations of a newsgroup
response.
