When I display my form in form view, I have a large blank space between the
detail and form footer sections. This space does not appear in design view
and I have adjusted the sections to be as close together as possible. Can
someone help me eliminate this blank space?

Thaks,

Thaks,

The form footer is always bottom-justified. Just make your total form
shorter (in normal view).

Exactly. The header and detail are top-justified and the footer is
bottom-justified. This means if your total form window is taller than the
combined three sections it will add extra space between the detail and the
footer.

Try dragging the bottom of the form window up and down. You will see that
gap gets larger and smaller as you do so.

When you refer to the form window, do you mean the grid area? Tha area is
the exact size of my total form. I have two sub forms in the form footer and
I have tried adjusting the size of them also. Sorry to be such a bother and
I do appreciate your help

Try doing the re-sizing in view mode, and not in design mode. If you set the
boarder to thin, or none, simply flip the form into design mode, change the
border style to sizeable. Now, go back to view mode (not design mode), and
then re-size the form as you like. now, hit ctrl-s. You can now flip back
into design mode, and change the border style back to thin, and then again
save the form. This way, users can't re-size your form.....
