I have an old school access 95 database that my organisation uses, one report
runs and uses a subform, and it has a print button on the page.

When this print button is hit it loads up the subform and prints it out,
problem is it's defaulting to an old printer that doesn't exist anymore and I
can't find out where to change where it's embedded in the database code.

Any ideas?

You probably won't find anything in the code. You should be able to select a
different printer in the print preview and then save the design of the form
or report or whatever you are printing.

Reports are for printing and forms are for display.

Problem is when you go file - print it works fine.

But when you select the button embedded into the report design to print the
form that's when it defaults to the old printer.

So it must be embedded somewhere in either the report or the form but I
can't find it.

You will only see the printer in the actual print user interface where you
should set the printer back to the default and then save the report.

Try open the report in design view and then go through the print menus to
select the default. Then go back to the design view and save the report.
