Access 2007 compatibility

can i buy and install access 2007 if i currently have Microsoft Office 2003 -
Microsoft Windows XP professional, Service Pack 2.

Unlike previous versions, Office 2007 and components from older versions do
not "play well together". They *do* work, but every time you open an Office
2007 component after running an older version component you will have to
wait through a LONG "Configuring Microsoft Office" dialog. Like over a
minute and a half.

Loud complaints have already been barraged upon MS about this. We still
await a fix.
