Access 2000 with postgres - no current record / odbc problem. Hel.

I am using Access 2000 with postgres. Some of the records decline to be
updated giving a No Current Record error message followed by reference to
odbc. I am not a programmer - plain English help would be appreciated.

What's postgres?

How does a record decline to be updated?

Is this done in a query or with VBA code?
