I was trying to have access2,
databasename /Repair /Compact,(no I cannot upgrade), run
UNATTENDED, but it pauses and wants me to click on the OK
button before it completes the task. Well, I have
discovered that I can use Access 97 to accomplish this
task successfully. It's /repair /compact does exactly what
I want and exits the function with NO problems. I am
concerned somewhat with future problems that might arise.
We have tested and run the Access2 database extensively
and can find NO problems so far. ALL of that to ask this,
does ANYONE foresee any problems having Access 97 repair
and compact an Access 2 database? Thanks for sharing your
time, Tony.
