If the computer does not crash with Driver Verifier set to normal setting
(turn off) it is working properly. Don't look for problems. Jym

I had a problem with the blue screen in the game Operation Flashpoint,
so I decided to run the Driver Verifier to see if I had problems with
faulty drivers. It turned out the problem was in my sound card, so I
replaced it with an old one, and now everything works fine.

However, when I run Driver Verifier, choose "Create Standard Settings"
and then "Automatically select all drivers installed on the
computer", I do get an occassional crash on startup (but not all the
time). The Stop code is 0x000000c4, which doesn't really give much
info, other than that a driver has caused the crash, according to
this:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;298690

However, without the Driver Verifier turned on, I get no crashes
whatsoever. Should I be worried? I've updated all of my drivers and
firmware.

Please fix your clock and/or timezone - you are posting from the future.
Your time zone is set to -0700 US Mountain. As this is the default when
installing Windows, I'm sure it's just an oversight. Please adjust your zone
to +0100.

It's in your own best interests

1) Post dating is rude - it's like pushing to the front of the queue in
the supermarket

2) You cut down the amount of assistance you receive as many won't answer
post dated posts except to tell the poster their settings are wrong.

3) Many servers will remove post dated posts as it's a tactic employed by
spammers

4) MS is also not averse to removing post dated messages.

Most of the time, when I find that a post is post-dated I choose to ignore
it. This is one of those times. Fix your clock.
