I have not seen any issues stemming from the
use of Web Matrix in a system which has the
both the .Net Framework 1.1 and 2.0 installed.
Web Matrix's latest ( last ) version will look for 1.1
assemblies, and has 1.1 objects, so you can only
program for the 1.1 Framework with it, if you are
only using its built-in objects.
Of course, by writing your own code, you can target
..NET Framework 2.0 features, just like you can with
Notepad.
The class browser, of course, only shows 1.1 classes.
Other than those, understandable, limitations,
I don't know what "issues" you are referring to.
I have *never* seen any report of Web Matrix
interference with ASP.NET 2.0, or vice-versa.
Which issues are you referring to ?
Can you be a bit more explicit ?
