If you are unhappy about your investment and alot of wasted time with
all of vista's unfriendly user options settings lack of smooth hardware
and software interactions etc. please tell us which manufactured pc are
you using. And do you think that is the real issue?
Most of my problems with vista is in the OS changes that seemed to be
made for the sake of change, adding to memory bloat, than any problems
with my hardware interacting with the hardware.
And even after SP1, Explorer is still just a work-in-progress. File
transfers are only faster in comparison to Vista pre-SP1, but still is
way slower than XP or Ubuntu.
The disaster of Vista, isn't that it is a horrible OS, its not. It's
just not as user friendly as its predecessor, and is a memory hog, even
with all its usless eye candy turned off.
You want to blame hardware manufacturers for MS's failure to develop a
more user-friendly OS than its predecessor? I doubt that sh*ts gonna fly
with the average MS consumer.
