Hi all,
I experimeting something unusual with the SUM function of
excel.
I sum 723 lines that Have - and + amount and the total
shows a 0.00 if decimal is set to two. However If you
increase decimal to 11 it appears that the sum genertates
a difference of 0.000000009.
I First assumed that a formula within the spreadsheet did
this so I did a copy paste Value, but the result is the
same.
I then used the function Round to make sure there was no
decimal anywhere. Same result.
Moreover, those data have been entered in SQL 2000 SP3,
and the amount field in the table is set to max 3
Caracters. From SQL as well the error occur.
I have a spread sheet that I'll be glad to send to any one
who's interested to see this issue
Regards
