A7V333: Best PCI slot for NIC?

I've got an analog modem and a SBLive sound card installed in two of
the PCI slots now and am adding a NIC tonite. What would be the best
PCI slot configuration for these devices?

depends where the others are in my case I have a highpoint controller in the
last slot (furthest away from the graphics) an audigy 2 in the next one up
and a usr 10/100 card in the next one up from that
