This is a bizarre one. Myself and my friend both use Word 2007. We were
working between computers on A5 documents. He suddenly found in new files the
A5 pages were about 1/3 shorter despite Word claiming it to be the correct
length. The width is unchanged.

All new A5 pages are shorter on my computer too when I looked into it, but
pre-existing A5 docs created on Word 2007 are fine. Is this a programming
glitch in a recent update?

Maybe Track Changes is/was turned on, and even though there are no
Comments, something (either the display or the printer dialog) is set
to display or print "Final with Markup" or "Document with Markup"?
Word shrinks the printed part somewhat to make room for the comments
balloons.

Has the top or bottom margin been changed? or an empty header or footer
been added to the document?
