I have two Net Adapter icons showing under Network Connections, it
used to be only one. I tried to uninstall one of the adapters from
Device Manager but on reboot it installs again as Net Adapter 1394 #2.
I am using Intel onboard GigaLan connection and do not have additional
cards installed. I also uninstalled all the network connections from
the Device Manager, disconnected the line and the cable modem from the
computer and reconnected everything again, but on reboot there are two
adapters showing again. What shows now is one Local Area Connection
icon and two 1394 Connection icons. Where the second one comes
from?????

WinXP SP1 latest updates, drivers, BIOS etc.

Yes, there are two Net Adapters in device manager and I think I've
always seen one. All works fine though, I am just curious?
