I am running xp pro and recently formatted my drive. On the old
configuration, I had it set where if i clicked on a pull down menu (such as
favorites) it would display the contents as long as my cursor stayed along
the column. Any movement away from the contents will result in the menu
retracting back up.

Now (I assume its the default setting) when I click on
Favorites, it will display the contents until I click on something in the
menu or a spot outside of the column.

I've looked for about the past two hours trying to find the place to change
the setting. I've also called a number of friends who know xp pretty well
and they didn't have a clue where that setting is located.

Thanks for the help....

Launch Internet Explorer and from the Toolbar select:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, scroll down to
"Enable Personalized Favorites Menu", place a check
next to it, click Apply.
