Hello,

If you use "XP-Professional", please ...

• Open "Control Panel"
• Click on the "Folder Options" icon
• Click on the "View" tab ...

About half-way down the list of choices, is an option labeled, "Launch
Folder Windows In A Separate Process".

Would someone be so kind as to give a quick explanation of what this means??
There is no help file available that I could find.

Thank you.

I could be wrong, but I always thought of this as open a folder in
Explorer in another window. Thus you end up as 2 or more Explorer
windows open.

Hi Dale

If you right-click on the checkbox or the title of the item, you'll get
a popup saying "What's this?" Click it and all will be revealed :-)

This works for all the other options in that dialog box and many other
places too. Hope this helps!
