How can I use Access to track the incomes and expenses

of my seven rental properties?

Sure, that is something Access will handle if you set up the database
correctly.

If you post much more specifc questions, we can start to offer specific
suggestions.


However, I wonder if, given the effort you'll need to invest in designing
and building such a database, whether you wouldn't be ahead to invest a
hundred dollars or so in an off-the-shelf package, such as

i'm with George on this. whether you're building the database from hell, or
a quick do-it-in-an-evening db, you have to start with the same basic skill
set. acquiring those skills takes considerable investment of time and
effort - and there are no shortcuts, if you want the database to be
dependably accurate. and since i imagine that one of your goals is to get
the "numbers" you need at tax time, accuracy is a must! get a dependable
off-the-shelf program, really.
