I have installed a program and after I have installed the upgrade for it.
Then I have instaled the sync application to for a palm. The program syncs
all the information but when I try to run the sync program it give me an
error of conflic.
When I go to the Add or Remove section the program appears twice (double ).
My guess is that when I instaled the full program it instaled once and when
instaled the upgrade it instaled again as a separate program.
What Do I do?

I'd try to delete the older one. Then again that's just me. I'd try that and
run from there.

dear Glen,
I did tried that and it uninstaled the program entirely. What it seems is
happening is that it appears twice in the add or remove program section but
it is only installed once. Do you know how to remove one of this out of the
section?

Alejo,

After you've removed the program (if it has only one entry in there that's
good) you can try to re-install it and see if that helps. What application
is this if you don't mind sharing. Usually you should only see it in there
once though some applications will, by design, have more than one running
process involved in them.

I have done that and nothing. It even stays in the dos as a image that I try
to delete and nothing.
I have the printed image but how can I send it?
Best Wishes

You've tried to uninstall it? Did it work before you got the upgrade for it?
Seeing as it's DOS there's one thing to remember, XP doesn't support DOS
natively. You could try running it in compatability mode. The following link
is really for games but will probably help you:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/games/expert/durham_og.mspx

If that doesn't help then try this:

DOSBox, a x86 emulator with DOS:

The best thing to do is ignore it as it is not doing any harm.

If you must get rid of it you will have to edit the registry
HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall.

That *may* still leave an entry so you will have to use Windows
Install Clean Up and remove the info for the errant entry.

The most important thing to do is ignore Galen...hasn't got a fecking
clue
