Considering my C:\ is nearly full, I unstall my office from C:\ and then
install my Office to D:\

After this, OFFICE runs well except EXCEL has a warning messege when I open
it.

The problem is:

When I open EXCEL, it jump up an alert messege:
[Unable to find C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office10\Library\Analysis\ATPVBACS.XLA]

1. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
2. If I don't solve this problem, what will be the result?

Thanks!

I don't know what ATPVBACS.XLA is, but Google only turns up one hit for
it...

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4SNCA_enUS221US221&q=ATPVBACS.XLA

and that has a warning attached to it saying "This site may harm your
computer", so I am thinking (but I don't know for sure) that file is a
virus/worm/Trojan of some sort. It may be relatively new because there is
only one hit for it in the search. Because of that warning, I will not
pursue your question any further. If you have a virus scanner program
running on your computer, you may want to contact the company that makes it
and ask them about this problem and what they suggest you do about it. I
presume they will direct you how to send the file to them for examination.

Now, with that all said, I could be completely wrong in my assumption; so
definitely check back here in this thread later on to see if anyone else has
any different thoughts on this matter.

Hi Rick

I may be totally wrong here, but since ATPVBAEN.XLS is the Analysis
Toolpak VBA English, I wonder whether
ATPVBACS.XLA is the Toolpak for another country - maybe Czech Republic?

Depends where the OP is located, and which national version of XL he is
running.

The solution might be Tools>Addins>check Analysis Toolpak>Browse> search
for the same location on drive D:

D:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Library\Analysis\ATPVBACS.XLA

I was thinking along the same lines Roger. This thread may shed some light
on it.
Perhaps Excel 2007 is the culprit.

I sure hope you are right for Martin's sake. I just found it suspicious that
there was only one hit for that filename in all of the net and that one site
is flagged as being dangerous to one's computer. One hit? I mean, Microsoft
never mentions it anywhere, in any of their web pages? I was afraid it was a
"near name" problem file of some sort.

Hi Rick

I wasn't suggesting that Martin downloaded anything from any site,
merely that he should point the Addin to the location for that file.
I found 12 references to the file (including the one you mention).
The others were all in Chinese, leading me to believe now that the last
2 letters CS are referring to Simplified Chinese.
Asking for a translation of them, I could see several references to

Open2" = "," e : \ program files \ microsoft office \ office11 \ l
ibrary \ analysis \ atpvbacs.xla ""
which would be consistent with the registry entries created if I load my
English version of ATP.

If Martin is using a Chinese version of XL, then maybe this is the
answer for him.
He should have a copy of the file on the original CD.
