A networking issue

I am having internet connection problems. I am running Windows XP-SP2,
there are no spyware or viruses on the system. I also have Norton
Systemworks 2004 installed and running. IE and Netscape and my other
Internet applications open fine, but once open, New pages take forever to
download and navigate. I am connecting through a cable modem, and a d-link
wireless router. This computer is connected to the router by my 10-100 nic
and cable. I have changed the cable and reinstalled the network adapter.
I have even connected directly to the cable modem, bypassing the router with
the same result.. Other computers are connected to the router using the
wireless connection with no issues.

Could Norton be the problem? I am thinking about doing a clean install of XP
to see if this will resolve the issue, but I really don't want to go to that
extreme if I can help it.
Any ideas?

Is your Temporary Internet cache folder full, and/or history full? Keep
your system clean and it will run faster. Some web sites have slow
servers or have a lot of traffic which can slow down page loading at
times. As far as Norton is concerned try disabling it for a while and
see if that helps.

Right-click Network Neighborhood and select "Properties". Under the
"Configuration" tab make sure that you have all the proper protocols
installed (e.g., TCP/IP, NetBEUI, File Sharing). Check the other
computers that are working for these and setup the same.

How many computers are connected to the connection and on Internet at
the same time? You may lose considerable bandwidth if others are
downloading large files, videos, or gaming.
