A got a small window come up periodically. Why?

The window tittle is csrss (a program name?) A a message said: "PM is not a
valid integer. It bother me a lot. Can any help??? Thanks.

When does this message appear? Does it happen in safe mode? To test
restart the computer, repeatedly tap the F8 key as the BIOS splash screen
disappears. When the Advanced Options menu appears highlight Safe Mode,
press enter. Login to the account that has this issue. Does the message
appear?

I sent the reply too soon. Also what is the malware status of the computer
and how do you check that. Here are some links for dealing with malware and
the results of a Google search on this error. Lastly you posted this
separately to two different groups. This shouldn't be done - it's called
multiposting. If needed you can cross post - sending the same message at
the same time to different appropriate groups, but not separate messages.
