Bootable partitions G, H, and I are on the same drive. I boot partition G and
try to change the H partition letter but a warning message appears informing
me that H is in use. The H partition is neither a system nor a pagefile
partition. Then I try to change the I partition letter but again a warning
message appears informing me that partition I is in use. I is neither a
system nor a pagefile partition. Since I booted partition G, why is H and I
in use?

Since you seem to mess around with your system a lot, experimenting with
this that and the other, it would be pretty difficult to guess what you
have managed to break this time. For all we know you could still be
infected.
