One of the accounts on my computer was accidently disabled. I am running
Windows XP home Edition and while tryin to find out how to enable the account
again could only find how to do this on XP Proffesional which has different
settings.

Does anyone know how i can enable this account again?
Thank s in Advance

Boot up into Safe mode and log on as the Administrator. You should then be
able to re-enable this account in Control panel.

You should be able to log onto the system with any user account that has
administrative privileges. Then go to the User Accounts applet in
Control Panel and enable the disabled user account.

You left out details like what account was disabled and why you can't do
the above paragraph, but the only way that XP Home differs from Pro in
this respect is that if you need to get into the normally hidden
built-in Administrator account you must start Home Edition in Safe
Mode.

Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up.
This will get you to the right menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key;
the mouse will not work here. Once in Safe Mode, you will see the
normally hidden Administrator account. The default password is a blank.
