I am looking for a courseware manual or short book that would teach
statistical functions. Does anyone know of any? Thanks

I wrote an inexpensive paperback, "Data Analysis Using Microsoft Excel:
Updated for Office XP," with primarily business applications, that might be
appropriate.

If you specify the area of interest where you want to use the statistical
functions, you may get more specific recommendations.
