99% Isopropyl alcohol - where to buy?

I can't seem to find this in any major drugstores.

Would a health food store carry it?

91% denatured, anything after that is a solvent.
even 91 can be caustic to many plastics.

Isopropyl is not for internal use, so you'd have to look for it in a
drugstore, or in a chemical supply store. Anhydrous or even 99%
alcohol is hard to come by, since alcohol will naturally absorb
moisture from the air at that concentration until the concentration
drops to 95% or so.

Hmmm, I can get it in a number of places locally to me, for a couple bucks a
pint.. Did you get on the phone and call a few dozen places? Where are you
located?

Drug stores usually have it as well as hydrogen peroxide in stronger
concentrations, just for the asking.

Yep, a little acetone on a rag does the trick, especially for thermal
pads. For thermal paste, an alcohol injection swab (the kind you buy at
the pharmacy that diabetics use before they inject their insulin) works
fine.
