9600GE vs 9600PRO?

I'm looking to buy either one of these cards. 9600GE or 9600PRO.

What's the difference in these cards? Is the PRO much faster for 2D and
video?

The 9600GE (read "Gamers Edition") is nothing more than the straight 128bit
9600. 325 core and 200(400) memory. The 9600 Pro is 400 core, 300 (600)
memory. Both DX9, both AGP8X, both 128bit. The 9600 Pro is faster but not
vastly faster. A 9600 Pro is marginal to adequate for most new 3D titles.
The 9600XT is faster yet with a 500Mhz core and 300 (600) memory. It's only
a few dollars more.

I picked up a 9700pro for $80 bucks shipped on Ebay.Benches 50% faster than
the 9600pro.40% faster than the 9600xt.Saw many go in the $60-$90 range,one
went for $55.I always buy from a highly rated power seller.Watch out for
shipping and check the return policy.
