9 Monitors

Hi,

Does anyone know if Windows XP can handle 9 monitors? I need to create a
setup where individuals can monitor nine application at the same time from
nine different monitors from a single PC.

Also, can anyone recommend Quad video cards? I will probably buy three of
them. Or perhaps if there is a better solution to get nine monitors
connected.

Been asked and answered, but I will paste it here for you.

If your computer has more than one video adapter, or one adapter
with multiple output ports, you can use the multiple monitors feature
in Windows XP. You can connect up to 10 monitors to your Windows XP-based
computer and display numerous programs or windows at one time.

Can anyone recommend a video card configuration for 9 monitors? I am
thinking 2 cards support Quad and one supporting 2.

Yes. It can handle up to ten.

If there any cards, I don't personally know of any. Perhaps someone else
does. How many free slots do you have? My guess is that getting enough video
cards installed may be your biggest problem.

I do not have a system yet. I will be coming up with system configuration
based on what I need to get the monitors working. I have found some Quad
cards that support up to 4 monitors each so I am guesing two of those and
one dual port card. What I have not found is a quad card support DVI ports.
Most have two DVI ports split into VGA to support 4 monitors.

Matrox quad video card

I've used more than one dual card of theirs with great success
