816903 ms virtual machine

I d/l the subject update on 8-1-05 successfully. I d/l it twice more on
8-2-05, again allegedly successfully. I was told again on 9-13-05 that I
needed to d/l it. I did so, and it's telling me I still need to d/l it. I
don't even use msvm anymore, switching to Java vm when word was that ms was
going to discontinue support for vm. How can I tell my computer that I don't
want it, don't need it and don't love it?
 
How do I uninstall Microsoft Virtual Machine?
