Hi,

For the last month this patch keeps getting adressed by Windows
Update. I've tried everything, but cant seem to get rid of it.
I've tried to uninstall it, reinstall it. Uninstall it, rename the
catroot-directories and reinstall it.
I can ignore the WU every time, or set it to reappear three days later
with a reminder, but because I ignore it now, I also tend to miss the
updates that aren't installed yet.
What can I do to get out of this endless harassing loop by WU, without
removing or disabeling WU entirely?

Wagenparkbeheerder,
go to windows update, scan for updates, after the scan, click
'Personalize Windows Update'. under the blue heading that says 'Choose which
categories and updates to display on Windows Update' uncheck the box or
boxes of any updates you may not need or want in the future.

The site does not allow this to be turned off for critical updates.

Also, I've tried to find out if it was possible that the older version
was somewhere hiding on my harddisk. It appears that there was a
version in program files/windowsupdate in a download temp.
However, it is still not downloaded. The 3,2 MB is coming in to fast,
to not be already present on the harddisk. Any clues on where it can
be located?
I have tried to get the patch myself through MS technet, but it gives
an error.
When I try to establish if the installation has gone well, and I use
regedit, the values in the filelist can not be read (it doesnt have
any subkeys in the filelist and all other updates have it would
seem...

Help?
