I received my vista32ultimate with new pc (how do you know what is the
correct ver to use?) I built this with sales but they never mentioned 32 vs
64! i thought i knew a little but this is aggravating since i had no
familiarity with XP (still used win98) Should i be using 64bit with the high
quality of pc i bought? Is this something that was overlooked?
I also tried to use my prod key and it says it is not recognized which gives
you free ms help (a very nice option) but ??? OK i am grrrrrrrrrowling
and i keep getting the same installs after fixing, wht the heck???
Help, do we get a free 64 bit version? Was this something they didn't fix,
think about? help help
Then was told i need to make backup discs, i hope that works cause i got to
do it now

If Windows Vista came preinstalled on your new PC, the PC manufacturer
is totally responsible for Vista support. Contact them for assistance.

PCs that comes preloaded with Vista from OEMs are responsible for providing
the 64-bit Vista media if you decide to migrate from 32-bit Vista. Deciding
whether you should go 64-bit depends on your needs, if you are running
memory intensive applications. If you have any need for the larger memory
address space provides up to 128 GBs, then its the Windows for you. Other
factors include Kernal Patch Protection which makes it more secure.
