Am unable 2 send mail to Yahoo, Hot and Caribsurf users from Outlook. I am in
Barbados if that makes a difference. Please help, thank you.

Sorry - no can help without basic information.

Version of Outlook? Type of Accounts? Are they set up? Did they test
correctly? Do you get any error messages? If yes, what is the exact text?
Have you contacted your ISP for assistance? What did they say? Did your
mail ever work? What happened just before it stopped working? What did you
install or uninstall just prior to it not working? (Hint - nothing is not a
good answer.)

Hi Milly, version 2003, mail goes to other o/look users. Have not tried my
ISP will do and c what they offer. Thanks will update post.

Milly, Funny I can receive but not even reply to theirs go any where. Admin
message says: 550 mail relay to Yahoo, Hotmail, Caribsurf is not allowed.

I asked several questions that you did not even attempt to answer, such as
does your mail account test settings work and if not, what is the exact
error message.

Since you are not forthcoming with this information, you can take the basic
advice that you are using another ISP SMTP server to send other than the one
that your ISP uses. Change your authentication.

If someone asks you for information to help you out, the least you can do is
answer the questions asked.

recently and the initial test was complete. Not sure about some of ur ? POP3
is what I have. only messages came after sending mail to other than Outlook.
Pardon my ignorance but am learning so please be patient with me. Hope this
provides more info as you try to help. I did not install anything. Just did
as I was told. Appreciate ur help.

Yes, it makes a difference. You're using an ISP different that your regular
one, so the ISP you're using thinks you're relaying. Change the SMTP server
to be the SMTP server of the ISP you're currently using.

Hello Brian, Thanks 4 tip. Not sure how to do it but will find out and report
back on outcome.

Good night Brian, here's great big hug and kiss from sunny Barbados and one
thankful gal. Finally got it all together today. Thank you so much and may
you be blessed.

Just want to add, to all of you who take the time to help strugglers like me,
thanks and blessings be unto you also. Brian you really made my day.

Just in case someone has a similar problem. I also had to use my local user
name and p/w for out-going server under email settings .
