Hi there
I've got the very annoying problem that my cpu consumes all the time
between 40 and 60 percent performance, but idle process is about 98%!
Process Explorer from Sysinternals helped me further and showed me
that "Interrupts" ~33% and "DPCs" ~15% consume this amount.
Do you have any idea how to solve this one?
Furthermore, I had to restore my windows xp twice since I bought a new
PC, because after around 1-2weeks of running well the internet stopped
to work. I still were getting an IP, tried releasing/renewing address,
worked successfully but I wasn't able to ping any host or access the
internet.
Is that a driver problem or some kind of virus? I've got McAfee
VirusScan Enterprise Edition V. 7.1, latest updates..no suspicious
files can be found. Checked computer for spyware, deleted all cookies,
"Run" Key in registry doesn't seem to content suspicious programs...
thanks a lot for helping me out!
