When replying to e-mails, I frequently receive an
Undeliverable message from the System Administrator. The
message always reads:
473 ________@___.com relaying prohibited. You should
authenticate first

At times I can resend the message and it will eventually
go through. Other times it won't and I need to re-write
my message as a new message--which (needless to say) can
be both annoying and time consuming. I would be grateful
if anyone could help me resolve this problem.

My e-mail address is (e-mail address removed) PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Make sure you set the authentication information in your POP account
properties.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

You need to authenticate to your outgoing server, which can be done on the
"Outgoing Server" tab of your account. If mail gets sent sometimes and you
have Outlook 2002 or 2003, I'd guess you want the "log into incoming server
before sending" option.
