Hi all,

I have released 4 Freeware applications and I would like more people to
know about them, so I thought I'd post some info on them... here are
the apps (in the order I use the apps the most):

* Toppy! * (http://www.rotebetasoftware.com/Toppy.html)

Nice little utility which lives in the system tray that allows you to
easily control which windows stay on top simply by using keyboard hot
keys.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Event Manager * (http://www.rotebetasoftware.com/EventManager.html)

Program to help you remember your appointments.

Event Manager is a light weight reminder program. It supports many
options for repeatable alarms and allows the user to specify a .wav
file as audio notification. Event Manager is very simple to use unlike
other bloat-ware reminders... just unzip and run.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Folder Size * (http://www.rotebetasoftware.com/FolderSize.html)

Helps you figure out where all that hard drive space has gone on your
computer.

Visually displays the size of each folder in the form of a bar graph...
click a folder bar and it will drill down and show sizes of folders
within... handy utility to have... give it a try

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* Who In The World *
(http://www.rotebetasoftware.com/WhoInTheWorld.html)

Give it an IP address or host name, and it will do a WhoIs lookup and
displays the originating country of the address. Will also display the
WhoIs query details as returned by the server... useful to find out
info on who is scanning your computer when your firewall reports it.

Thanks,
Cleon Pinto.

I've been looking for a very long time for a decent reminder program
and I think I've finally found it 'EVENT MANAGER', very well done!
Visually attractive, plenty of options.
The only problem I had was with the 'Time', no readily identifiable way
of changing. Figured it out by visiting the forum and doing a quick
search.
The only feature I think it needs is the ability for the sound to
steadily increase in volume to a user defined level.
Excellent program for me Cleon, definately a keeper!

I like this program, especially as I have to glean out bad guestbook
entries from some of my client's pages. Nice job.
I also downloaded the event viewer. These should be nominated for the
NEXT CD.
