3rd hard drive in Win2K

I want to add at least 1 more hard drive to my P4 pc
I have installed a PCI to IDE card but cant get it to work
after checking with microsoft they say I need to change the regestr
but I dont know where to start.
Any help would be appreciate

I don't want to say "That's nonsense", but it sure sounds exactly
like nonsense. I assume you went through "Add Hardware"
wizard to add the new card?
