3dmark3 bad score

Hello all

3dmark Benchmark gives me a score of 2343

from what i have read that is pretty bad

here are my specs

any help would be appreciated to boost performance

Amd 2500 Barton
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe
1 gig DDR duel channel
SATA 120 WD
ATI 9700 pro

Make sure you've got the latest drivers for your Radeon (Catalyst 4.10) and
for your motherboard. Also check to see whether Asus have an updated BIOS
you can apply (careful!).

Defrag. Check what you've got running in the background. The usual.
